In the Beginning:

Dr. Tim P. Faulk began his career in Public Safety in the early 1970’s as a volunteer firefighter, police dispatcher, and auxiliary Police officer with the South Flomaton Fire and Police Departments. He continued his training, completing Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training. He passed the EMT state examinations in both Florida, and Alabama. He worked with Gandy Ambulance Service, Century, Florida, and was one of the first hired with Santa Rosa County Emergency Medical Services, Milton, Florida.

Dr. Faulk also became certified as an instructor in both Emergency First Aid (American Red Cross) and CPR (American Heart Association) teaching for several years in Northwest Florida. Dr. Faulk then completed the Paramedic training program at Pensacola Junior College in March 1977. Following this training, he passed the state examination and began working with Escambia County Emergency Medical Services. He also successfully passed the first Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS, American Heart Association) taught in Northwest Florida. Dr. Faulk completed the first Associate of Science degree in Paramedics from Pensacola Junior College and he received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with a major in Criminology from Saint Leo College.

The Growing Years:

Dr. Faulk furthered his education by completing both the Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in Counseling and the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Counseling. Dr. Faulk is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Approved Supervisor in Alabama. He has completed additional training to qualify him as a Certified Trauma Specialist (CTS), and he is a Diplomate and Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress through the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. Where we're going:
